Shipping Wine
Grovedale Winery ships wine using UPS and other approved carriers through our compliance and fulfillment partner, Vinoshipper. Shipment dates may vary depending on wine availability and weather conditions. To protect the quality of our wines, shipments may be delayed during periods of extreme heat or freezing temperatures.

Standard Ground Shipping
The standard shipping option for most orders is Ground Delivery. Orders shipped by Ground typically arrive between 1–7 business days after the order leaves the winery or fulfillment location. Delivery time depends on the destination and carrier transit times.
Express Shipping
Expedited shipping options such as 2-Day Air may be available for an additional charge. Shipping costs will be calculated and displayed during checkout.
Expedited shipping reduces transit time but does not always reduce the time required to process and prepare your order.
Order Tracking
Tracking information is typically sent by email once your order has shipped. If you cannot locate your tracking number or need assistance tracking your order, please contact Customer Service at [email protected].
Shipping & Handling Charges
Shipping and handling charges are calculated and displayed during the checkout process before your order is completed.
Signature Required for Alcohol Shipments
All wine shipments require an adult signature at the time of delivery. The person receiving the package must be at least 21 years of age and present valid identification.
If no one is available to sign for the package during the first delivery attempt, the carrier will make additional delivery attempts according to their policies.
Benefits of Using a Commercial Delivery Address
We strongly recommend using a business or commercial address whenever possible to ensure someone over the age of 21 is available to sign for the delivery. This can help avoid missed deliveries and shipping delays.
Delivery Responsibility
Once an order has been shipped and tracking information has been provided, the customer assumes responsibility for coordinating delivery with the carrier. Customers are encouraged to monitor tracking information and make arrangements to ensure someone 21 years of age or older is available to sign for the package.
Customers may contact the carrier directly to request delivery changes, such as redirecting the package to another address within the same state or scheduling a pickup at a carrier facility. Additional carrier fees may apply.
Grovedale Winery is not responsible for delays, missed deliveries, or returned shipments resulting from the recipient’s unavailability, incorrect shipping addresses provided at checkout, or failure to arrange for an adult signature.
Missed Deliveries
Carriers will generally attempt delivery up to three times. If delivery cannot be completed after the final attempt, the package may be held briefly by the carrier before being returned to the winery.
If a shipment is returned due to failed delivery attempts, refusal of the package, or an incorrect address provided by the customer, the customer may be responsible for return shipping charges as well as additional shipping charges to reship the order.
Return Policy
Due to the nature of alcoholic beverages, returns are limited once a shipment has been sent. If an order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact Customer Service at [email protected] or call 570-746-1400.
Please include photos of any damaged bottles or packaging so we can assist with the carrier claim process.
If a shipment is returned to Grovedale Winery, refunds are generally issued for the product cost minus the actual outbound shipping charges and return shipping charges associated with the order.
If the return was caused by a carrier error or confirmed shipping damage, Grovedale Winery may arrange a replacement shipment or refund when appropriate.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase once the return or claim has been reviewed. Please allow 1–2 billing cycles for the refund to appear on your statement.
Security
Your payment and personal information are always protected. Our website uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption, the industry standard for secure online transactions. This technology encrypts sensitive information including credit card numbers, names, and addresses during transmission.
Shipping Restrictions and Legal Compliance
Wine sold to you is sold in Pennsylvania and title passes to you, the buyer, in Pennsylvania. By placing an order, you authorize Grovedale Winery to engage a licensed carrier to deliver the wine on your behalf.
You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase wine. By placing an order you certify that both you and the recipient are at least 21 years old. The recipient will be required to present valid identification at the time of delivery.
Alcohol shipping laws vary by state and jurisdiction. Grovedale Winery complies with all applicable regulations and may limit shipments to certain states or locations where shipping is not permitted.
Shipping Schedule
Orders are typically shipped on non-holiday weekdays. Weekend delivery is generally not available.
During periods of extreme temperatures, shipments may be delayed to protect the wine from heat or freezing damage.
