Each spring, the forests of Pennsylvania burst to life with Trillium (tril′ē əm) flowers, signifying winter has (finally) ended. These flowers, native only to North America and Asia, can be spotted as you traverse the Appalachian Trail. This rich, full-bodied Malbec has notes of dark berries and a smooth, silky finish.

It’s just nice

A nice well rounded red.

deep and fruity--but not sweet

Everyone loves this wine and asks where it comes from. It's distinctive and so satisfying. My husband doesn't usually join me in having wine--unless I've opened this one or the Grovedale Graywauke.

One of my favorites from Grovedale Winery. I have visited many PA wineries and have not found any dry red wines that I have enjoyed as much as those from Grovedale.

This is a pleasant dry red. We enjoyed a bottle at the winery and took a couple bottles home. It was very good with grilled steak and grilled chicken.
